“ Jest Plain Funny!”
Contest Guidelines and Rules
The contest will be run on our Facebook wall this time around.
You must post a photograph on Jest Paint’s Facebook wall. Your image must be funny and have something to do with face and body art (either the act of, the products or the end result).
We need to see that you actually uploaded your photo onto our wall, which is located at www.facebook.com/jestpaintcom
As a comment to your photo, you must write “Jest Plain Funny”.
Only tagging Jest Paint’s Facebook page in one of your pictures, or sharing a picture on our wall does not count as a submission.
Each participant can only submit one entry.
Images submitted need to be in a decent size and quality in order to qualify. We want to laugh our Jest Pants off, so make sure your image isn’t blurry and the size of a playing card.
This contest is only for entrants 18 years of age or older. This is a free contest, no purchase is required to participate however, you have to “like” our Facebook page in order to participate.
This contest is open to anyone from anywhere with the exception of Jest Paint employees (so Anna, Santi and Chandra cannot participate). This is an online contest, so obviously you do not need to be physically present to win. Your image just needs to be on our wall.
Void where prohibited (I’d hate to live there).
This contest opens on July 7th, 2012 and closes on July 23rd, 2012. You must submit your entry before 11:59pm am EST on the closing day, so please submit early because your computer is bound to crash right when you try to click upload at the last minute. Jest Paint is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of the Internet or any web site.
Once all entries have been received and reviewed by our panel of really interesting judges (Anna and Santi), the winner will be selected based on how funny their submission was and for keeping it face and body art related.
Now, we have had so many great entries in past contests that we were tempted to give out more than one prize, and were even asked to by some funny contestants, but sorry folks, there is only one winner and one prize for this contest, so aim as high as you can!
The winner will be contacted via their Facebook wall and Facebook e-mail within 7 days after the contest’s closing date. The winner will have 7 days to respond back to the message to claim their prize. If we do not hear from the winner, we will a choose another winner. So keep your eyes peeled!
The prize will be a $50 e-gift card. The e-gift card is for purchases at Jest Paint, and cannot be swapped out for cash or a microwave or any other substitutions or assigned or transferred to another person. You have to spoil yourself!
The posting of your image implies that you have all rights over your image and permission has been granted to you by anyone in your image to be used for this contest. By participating in this contest and submitting your picture to us, you also grant Jest Paint LLC permission to use your photo for all purposes, including production and advertising (marketing and promotions), either online or in print or any other media. You will still hold all rights and ownership of your image as well.
By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree that they have entered the contest by their own free will, that the full rules and minute details of the contest have been made available to them in writing, and that they have read and understood the rules before participating. They therefore understand and agree that neither Jest Paint nor any of its affiliates or associations, including all of its agents, employees, directors, officers, and workers have any liability with respect to any damages out of acceptance and use of their prize or from your participation in this contest and are released from any claims, demands, suits, or causes of action against it by you (the participant) or anybody in the picture you submitted arising from this contest. By entering this contest, participants agree to be bound by these amazing rules.
